What is a Director of Sound?

In short. Someone who does for sound and music, what a Director of Photography does for visuals.

As such, I’m responsible for realising the director’s artistic vision for sound and music.

It’s also my job to make sure that everyone on the creative team, has a good understanding of how we intend to realise the vision.

In this work, I’m relying on more than 30 years of experience as composer, sound designer and post production engineer.
